Terms of Service

blffr.io is a free online word game run by one independent developer in Denmark. By playing, or by using the blffr Discord app, you agree to these terms.

Play fair, be decent

Don't post slurs, harassment, sexual content, threats, other people's personal information, or spam, in chat, names or answers. Don't use scripts or automation against the game, and don't try to break, exploit or overload the service.

Reporting

If a player breaks these rules, use Report on their player card. Players who break the rules can be kicked from rooms.

Bots and AI

Computer players ("bots") can fill empty seats. Their hints and chat messages are generated by AI services and can be wrong, odd or off-topic. They are not real people.

Discord app

The /blffr command creates a private game room and posts a link to it in the channel where you used it. The app does not read your messages and has no other permissions.

The service

The game is free and provided as it is, without warranties. Rooms, features and the service itself can change, pause or stop at any time. You use it at your own risk, and to the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for damages from using it.
